Project: Picnic

Role: Completed at Selander Design -  Conceptual Design, Technical Design & Fabrication

For this Scenic Design of the Play “Picnic” we decided to go completely realistic. The audience entered the world of 1950’s Kansas through a tool shed and into the backyard of Helen Potts and Flow Owens. All in a small theater in North Hollywood. This set was nominated for “Best Scenic Design” at the Los Angeles Ovation Awards.
