Project: Gemdale Sliding Glass Doors

Located in the high-rise communal space of the Skyglass Tower, this system of sliding glass doors acts as both an architectural room divider and an integral part of the building's top-floor narrative. We designed and fabricated the large panels using dichroic and reflective films in an angular pattern. This allows the system to refract and split ambient light, creating a dynamic, ethereal color display that changes with the time of day and the orientation of the sliding doors.
